Gently-used women's work appropriate clothing
We only accept gently-used and new women’s clothing that is suitable for interview or the workplace. Please make sure that items are cleaned, folded neatly, and that you do not remove the sizing label from any garment.
We ask you to please not include coat hangers however high-street style shopping bags are appreciated.
Handbags, accessories, shoes and new cosmetics
Generally speaking, if it’s something that will make our clients feel fabulous at interview or in work, we’re happy to accept it.
For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept used or unsealed cosmetics of any sort.
Pounds in the pocket
Clothes are at the heart of what we do, but they don’t keep the lights on. Small financial donations in addition to, or in lieu of your gently-used workwear enable us to continue to operate and provide this vital service.
For security reasons we ask that you do not provide donations in the actual pockets of donated clothing items.
Getting your donation to us
We accept donations at our premises at 47 Hobsons Place, Woodseer Street, London E1 5HH during opening hours.
Donations are regularly received in person, by taxi, courier and post. Please let us know in advance if you're planning to donate in person or are sending a taxi or courier so that we can be ready to accept the donation.
Ship to us for free
Not able to make it in person? You can now send your donation to us free of charge using a shipping label from Collect+.
Simply wrap up your donations, visit collectplus.co.uk/dressforsuccess to generate your shipping label, print and apply to the packaging. You can then drop the donation off at one of 7000 Collect+ collection points located anywhere in the country.
*There is no charge to Dress for Success Greater London for this service and you are able to send donations from anywhere in the UK. Please note that this arrangement is for use by private individuals only and should not be used by companies following collections or clothing drives.
